Academic Procrastination of Spanish Pre-service Teachers during the COVID-19 Pandemic

The present study seeks to ascertain whether the academic procrastination of university pre-service teachers varied during COVID-19 pandemic when compared data collected from another sample (n = 794) taken before pandemic, and reasons that might explain this. 910 responded PASS scale, Academic Procrastination Scale, Unintentional Active New General Self-Efficacy Scale pandemic. results reflect greater than for pre-pandemic sample; 37.8% felt their had increased due which was more evident amongst women, whereas 8.7% reported having procrastinated less, displaying highest level self-efficacy. In both instances, most commonly alleged were time management, together with changes they forced make in habits. We discuss implications need be considered planning organizing teaching, should a similar situation occur again.
